This is a story of one night in Rome, as well as one night for Ukraine that lasts for four months now.
The show is a multi-disciplinary and multicultural project based on The Rape of Lucrecia by William Shakespeare, Ukrainian folk songs, Taras Shevchenko, Lesia Ukrainka and Christina Bila poetry, Ovid’s testimonies and the documented stories of women from the Kyiv and Kharkiv region.
The show was produced and performed during the Shakespeare Festival in Craiova and will continue growing traveling at the Shakespeare Festivals.
